Do you think that Gina Guangco(Vanessa Hudgen's mom) is really Chinese-Spanish-Filipino mix?

I was fascinated when I first heard that Vanessa Hudgens is half Filipino and what made me more curious is when her bio mentioned that her mom is also mixed. I googled for some of their family photos but unlike my expectation that her mom is mestiza I kind of thought that it is false since her mother looks like an ordinary and common Filipina(brown complexion, short stature, flat nose, and all Filipino features). When Vanessa was asked by a US interviwer about her ethnicity, she said that, "Pretty much I'm Caucasian and Filipino, but within that I'm ACTUALLY SPANISH, CHINESE, NATIVE AMERICAN AND IRISH". But when asked by a Philippine interviewer she said that her mother is actually Filipina. And I myself doubt that her mom is mixed because she doesn't look like it at all! If there's a mixed blood, perhaps it's only 1%. I've read her mom's blurbs in myspace and she would emphasize that she's FILIPINA, LATINA AND CHINESE. Again, she looks nothing like that!
